An hour southwest of D.C., Morais Vineyards and its European-inspired atmosphere provides the perfect backdrop for a romantic and easy escape. One of the few wineries in Virginia crafting Portuguese style wine, this is an age-old tradition for the Morais family and is sure to make for a memorable visit.

North of Morias Vineyards sits another LOVEwork at the beautiful Airlie hotel. Conveniently located just 35 miles beyond the Northern Virginia beltway in the midst of Virginia wine and horse country, Airlie offers its guests a true escape from the daily hustle and bustle. Check out their many couples packages and be sure to dine on-site at Harry’s for a “pasture-to-plate” three-course dinner.
LOVEwork at Ducard Winery
Ducard Vineyards is nestled on the eastern edge of Shenandoah National Park, which means it’s the perfect stop after a rewarding hike. (Pro Tip: Old Rag’s trailhead is less than 5 miles from Ducard Winery.) If hiking isn’t your forte, then you’ll enjoy mountain and vineyard views from Ducard’s patio and streamside deck while sipping estate grown wines and savoring local foods.
LOVEwork at Showalters Orchard and Greenhouse
On the western side of SNP, Showalter’s Orchard and Greenhouse is home to one of Shenandoah Valley’s premier cideries. Their LOVEwork is perfectly situated with breathtaking views of the Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains. You’ll feel right at home at their family-owned farm while you enjoy a crisp Old Hill Cider paired with a cheese plate or hot mulled cider and a delicious apple cider donut! Winter Hours are Monday-Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm, closed on Sundays.

This lovely LOVEwork is tucked away in Orange just outside of Charlottesville in Virginia’s beautiful wine country. The Market at Grelen is a destination casual café, event venue, garden shop, and pick your-own-farm, serving up local flavors and Virginia wines alongside beautiful mountain views. (Note: The Market at Grelen is CLOSED for the winter and will re-open March 1st!)
LOVEwork in Crozet/Montfair Resort

Montfair Resort Farm is a 129-acre property located 30 minutes west of Charlottesville offering daily vacation cottage rentals, small meetings, company picnics, reunions, workshops and rustic destination weddings at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Guests may enjoy nature trails, biking, canoeing and fishing on the small lake of the property and the nearby local wineries, breweries and Shenandoah National Park.
The Montfair Resort Farm “Love Sign” was built by Virginia juried master artisan Joe Sheridan. The sign is seven feet high and just over twenty feet long. It is composed of twigs and branches woven around a 2×4 frame situated on 4×4 post. It sits on top of a hill at the entrance to Montfair, over-looking Browns Cove Va. and is surrounded by the magnificent Blue Ridge Mountains.

Also outside of Charlottesville, Veritas Vineyard and Winery’s LOVEwork is suitably made with hundreds of wine corks and is suspended over the tasting bar. Whether spending time in the cozy tasting room or outside on the deck or lawn, Veritas always offers stunning views, warm hospitality and delicious Virginia wine.
LOVEwork at Cardinal Point Winery
Just minutes from Veritas, Cardinal Point Winery also features a wine-themed LOVEwork made of used barrels. Don’t miss Cardinal Point’s annual Wine Lovers 5k on February 12th for a sweet start to a fun and romantic weekend. The race starts and finishes in the vineyard and winds its way through some of the most scenic back roads in central Virginia.
LOVEwork in Bristol
Bristol is hailed as the “Birthplace of Country Music” so it’s no surprise the city adopted a music theme for its LOVEwork. It can be found on State Street, cleverly named for the Virginia-Tennessee border that runs right down the middle of its historic downtown. In Bristol, you’ll find yourself surrounded by live music, mountains, lakes, and numerous hiking and biking trails to choose from.
